It's been a great year so far...
2017 has been a great year so far with some highlights along the way...
Towards the end of January we hosted TAILOR aka Anna Wolf at The Bedford in Balham. Anna Wolf continues to wow audiences across the capital and abroad with her eclectic palette and jaw-dropping live performances.
In February, South African monki-punk outfit Boo! treated us to their onstage hi-jinks at Putney's Halfmoon.
Then in early March we took legendary 80's/90's soul pop band The Christians on tour to South Africa, where they played at Cape Town's beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens.
Following our first synthwave event in London back in September 2017, we followed this up with our second at the legendary Electrowerkz in Angel, where we once again showcased just how immersive these audio and visually spectacular events can be. Canada's Dana Jean Phoenix played a cracking set alongside Spain's Nightcrawler, with support from rising synth pop stars New Arcades and Sol Flare.
In May we took the flagship Outland city-series synthwave event to Glasgow, which turned out amazingly well. Featured on the line-up was Timecop1983 (Netherlands), Michael Oakley (Canada), ALEX, Kalax, VHS Dreams, LeBrock, New Arcades and 80sStallone. What a party!
In June we booked and tour-managed legendary South African singer songwriter Arno Carstens on his U.K. Tour, with stops in London, Maidstone, Glasgow & Bournemouth.
We followed this up in July with bookings for another legendary South African son, comedian Barry Hilton, which took us to Bournemouth, London, Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester.
Throw in some more South African flavour with a sold out booking for the equally legendary Ard Matthews from Just Jinjer fame, at The Halfmoon in August, and we thought the year was complete.
Another TWO big synthwave parties took place on a Thames Boat in September and then Hoxton's Underbelly a few weeks later. The synthwave scene seems to be on a huge up, what with Gunship and The Midnight's recent chart successes in this burgeoning genre.
